Home

Welcome to Nottingham Law Centre...

...offering free, confidential and independent advice to anyone who lives or works in the City of Nottingham.

What we do

We give advice on the following areas of law...

We also offer advice and representation to anyone attending court for a hearing to repossess their house.

We have solicitors from private practice coming into the Law Centre on alternate Thursday evenings to give initial advice on areas of the law not covered by Law Centre Staff.

Because of the high demand on our services, all initial advice is by appointment only. We regret that we can't give advice over the telephone or by e-mail.

Due to the high demand - appointments are often booked up and you may be told to call back a few days later or given alternative contact numbers.

What we do not do

Staff and client rights

We will treat all callers and users of of the Law Centre with respect.

We ask all callers and users to respect the fact that our staff and clients have a right to work and attend the Law Centre without having to tolerate aggressive or abusive behaviour.

Individuals who are offensive, racist or aggressive (physically or verbally) to our staff or clients will be asked to leave the building and will not be given assistance.

We regret that, owing to limited resources, the information on this website is only provided in English.
