On Thursday 11^th May 2017 staff and friends of Nottingham Law Centre took to the streets of Nottingham to participate in the Nottingham Legal Walk. The Nottingham Legal Walk is an annual event, organised by the Midland Legal Support Trust, and consists of a 10km sponsored walk around Nottingham and the sights of the city to raise money for local advice services. The need for free legal advice has grown considerably in the past few years. The recession has increased poverty and reduced support services, whilst funding for such services has also reduced.

The event was well attended and a great time was had by all. We are so grateful to everyone who has sponsored us, but if you haven’t then it’s not too late! Our funding page can be found here.

If you would like to join us for next year’s walk or would like to help us raise much needed funds then keep your eyes peeled. We’ll be recruiting walkers/fundraisers when the time comes.

Thanks once again to the Midlands Legal Support Trust for organising such a wonderful event and for all of their hard work. We're already look forward to the next one!
